- We offer free, no-obligation quotes for all services via our “Get A Quote” form, email, phone, or in-person consultation.
- Quotes are based on the information you provide (e.g., project description, photos, site conditions). Inaccurate or incomplete information may affect quote accuracy.
b. Quote Validity
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise stated.
- After 30 days, we may revise the quote due to changes in material costs, labor rates, or project scope.
c. Acceptance
- To accept a quote, you must confirm in writing (e.g., email, signed agreement) or verbally with a deposit (if required).
- Acceptance forms a binding contract subject to these terms and any project-specific agreement.
d. Site Visits
- For complex projects, we may require a site visit before finalizing a quote. We will arrange this with you at no cost, within our service areas (e.g., Cliffe, Rochester, Gravesend, Chatham, and surrounding locations).
4. Service Agreements
a. Project Scope
- Upon accepting a quote, we will provide a written agreement outlining:
- Project scope (e.g., kitchen installation, patio construction).
- Estimated timeline.
- Agreed costs, including labor, materials, and any additional fees (e.g., waste disposal).
- Payment terms.
- Any changes to the project scope must be agreed in writing and may incur additional costs.
b. Pricing and Payments
- Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise.
- A deposit (typically 20–50%, depending on the project) may be required before work begins. The deposit amount will be specified in the agreement.
- Progress payments may apply for larger projects, as outlined in the agreement.
- Final payment is due upon project completion, unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may incur interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily.
- We accept payments via bank transfer, cheque, or cash. Payment details will be provided in the invoice.
c. Materials
- We source high-quality materials from reputable suppliers. If you provide materials, we are not responsible for their quality, suitability, or defects.
- Material costs are subject to market fluctuations. Significant changes may require a revised quote, with your approval.
d. Timelines
- Estimated timelines are provided in good faith but may be affected by factors beyond our control (e.g., weather for outdoor projects, supplier delays, unforeseen site issues).
- We will keep you informed of any delays and work to minimize disruption.
e. Access and Permissions
- You must provide reasonable access to the project site during agreed working hours (typically Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM).
- You are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions (e.g., planning permission, landlord approval) unless we agree to handle this in writing.
- We are not liable for delays or costs arising from lack of access or permissions.
f. Subcontractors
- We may use trusted subcontractors for specialized tasks (e.g., electrical, plumbing). All subcontractors are vetted and work to our quality standards.
- Subcontractors are bound by confidentiality and operate under our supervision.
5. Project Execution

- We comply with relevant regulations, including Building Regulations 2010, where applicable.
b. Health and Safety
- We prioritize safety and comply with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.

- We reserve the right to pause work if safety concerns arise, notifying you immediately.
c. Waste Disposal
- We will remove and dispose of project-related waste responsibly, in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Additional disposal fees (e.g., for hazardous materials) will be included in the quote or agreed separately.
d. Changes and Extras
- If you request changes or additional work, we will provide a revised quote or cost estimate. Work will proceed only with your approval.
- Unforeseen issues (e.g., structural problems discovered during renovation) may require additional work. We will consult you before proceeding and agree on costs.
e. Completion
- A project is considered complete when all agreed work is finished to a satisfactory standard, as confirmed by you or a walkthrough inspection.
- Minor snagging issues (e.g., touch-up paint) will be addressed promptly at no extra cost, provided they are reported within 7 days of completion.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
a. Your Right to Cancel
- Website Quote Requests: You may withdraw a quote request at any time before accepting it, with no obligation.
- Service Contracts (Off-Premises or Distance): If you book services remotely (e.g., via phone, email, or website) or at your home, you have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel without reason. The period starts the day after you accept the quote.
- To cancel, notify us in writing (email or letter) within 14 days.
- If work begins within the cooling-off period at your request, you may be liable for costs incurred up to the cancellation date.
- After Cooling-Off: Cancellations after the cooling-off period may incur charges for work already completed or materials ordered. We will discuss this with you and confirm costs in writing.
b. Our Right to Cancel
- We may cancel a project or quote if:
- You fail to provide access, permissions, or payments as agreed.
- Unforeseen circumstances (e.g., safety risks, supplier insolvency) make the project unfeasible.
- In such cases, we will notify you immediately and refund any payments for uncompleted work, minus reasonable costs incurred.
c. Refunds
- Deposits are refundable within the cooling-off period, minus costs for work started at your request.
- Non-refunded deposits or payments cover materials ordered, labor, or administrative costs.
- Refunds will be processed via bank transfer within 14 days of agreement.
7. Guarantees and Warranties
a. Workmanship Guarantee
- We offer a 12-month guarantee on all workmanship, covering defects due to poor installation or materials we supply.
- To claim, notify us within 12 months of completion, and we will inspect and repair at no cost, provided the issue is not due to misuse, third-party interference, or normal wear and tear.
b. Manufacturer Warranties
- Materials or products (e.g., kitchen units, tiles) come with manufacturer warranties, which we will pass on to you. Warranty periods vary by product.
- We will assist with warranty claims but are not liable for manufacturer defects.
c. Exclusions
- Guarantees do not cover:
- Damage caused by improper use, neglect, or unauthorized repairs.
- Natural wear and tear (e.g., weathering of outdoor patios).

- Natural disasters (e.g., floods, storms).
- Government restrictions (e.g., lockdowns).
